About Pokémon Redstone
Pokémon Redstone is an unofficial browser fan game that combines a top-down Pokémon-style world with Minecraft-inspired blocks and tools. Start a new world, explore the landscape, and use the inventory and hotbar to manage building materials.
The new-world menu includes Creative and Hardcore modes. Creative mode describes unlimited resources and instant block destruction. Hardcore mode uses hard difficulty and a single life, with the menu noting that losing a Pokémon battle counts as dying. A Join Co-op option is shown on the title screen.
The original website states that the game is free to play and is not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures, The Pokémon Company, Mojang or Microsoft. Keyboard controls are displayed below the game. Touch gameplay has not yet been confirmed.
How to play
- Start from the title screen and choose Create New World. Select a game mode before creating your world.
- Move with the arrow keys or WASD. Press Space to jump and Shift to sprint.
- Use Z to mine, attack or talk, and X to use an item, place a block or eat.
- Press E to open the inventory. Choose hotbar slots with 1–9, the mouse wheel, or C and V; press Q to drop an item.
- Press J for the map and Enter for the menu. Use M to toggle music.

Will it work on my phone?
Phone support has not been confirmed yet. Try a computer if the touch controls don’t respond.
Does it cost anything to play?
You can play for free. Any optional purchases are listed by the game itself.
Can I play with other people?
Yes, multiplayer is supported. Open the game to see the available ways to play together.
